Jamie entered the motor industry in 1998 having studied Retail Management at Bournemouth University. His first employers were a family owned group on the south coast and spent five happy years honing his sales and management skills with a variety of their franchises including MG Rover, Daihatsu, Vauxhall and Saab.
In 2003 he joined another family owned dealer group with Toyota and BMW franchises and enjoyed his time immensely.

David left school in 1960 to do a mechanical apprenticeship with the local Austin dealer. He spent twenty years with the same company and left as sales director to start his own family business.
St Michaels service station in Yeovil was purchased by David and Janet in 1981 and offered a petrol forecourt, workshop and used car sales. It was sold to Gulf Oil in 1991.
David then worked for a Subaru franchise as a salesman and most latterly for the RAC.

Janet had a number of clerical roles before joining the family business at its inception in 1981 and combined raising Jamie and sister Emma with the accounts responsibility of the garage.
After the sale of the business Janet worked for a local accountancy practice and now works for a charitable organisation in addition to her Internet Car Lot duties.
