The Internet Car Lot is owned and operated by the Litton family. We are local people and are enthusiastic about the quality of cars we sell and the service we provide.
For 10 years during the 1980's we owned St Michael's service station in Yeovil. We offered used cars, servicing and had petrol facilities. With the growth of the supermarket petrol forecourts, we felt the time was right in 1991 to sell the business to a multi national oil company.
The Internet Car Lot was conceived to take advantage of modern retail consumer buying behaviour. Instead of trawling local used car forecourts as would have been the case in the 1990's, the used car buyer researches the purchase using the internet and locates cars of interest. With that in mind, we felt it pointless to pay large rents for retail premises when the saving could be passed on to the customer. It should be noted that at no point does our cost saving approach comprimise our attitude to both exceptional cars and customer service.
